Our little 'adoptee' is officially adopted! She was adopted by a doctor and children from Charlotte. I'm glad she found a good home. We enjoyed her company while she stayed with us.

Here is the finished Fairy Doily. I am so proud of how it turned out. I am going to try to frame it.
Fabric glue is my new best friend!!
Here's what I'm working on now.... it's a butterfly doily...
It's also a creation from Ann at BellaCrochet. She designs such beautiful doilies!
I'll keep you posted on my progress. Talk to ya'll later!

I'm just curious about why you gave away your little "orphan." Did you think about keeping hem/her yourself, or aren't you the doggy types?
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you loved your little adoptee until her forever home was found. What a sweetie she is. I love the afghan on the back of the couch. Beautiful! As is the doily, magnficent work Charlotte! Not to mention the butterfly doily is a wow too! Have a lovely evening. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I loved the dog but just didn't feel we could give her the attention that she needed. My husband is constantly doing some project outside (heavy machinery) and I am more of a cat person.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am ridiculously impressed! I can't imagine how much time it must have taken to make that fairy... it's beautiful! Thanks for linking up to our YARN IT ALL party! :]
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! The butterfly is going to be gorgeous too! Thanks for linking!
