I had lunch with my nine year old grandson, Sloan, today. He and 13 of his peers were treated to Happy Meals to celebrate the end of the semester as part of the safety patrol team.
They quickly devoured a whole pack of cookies with the boys competing to see who could eat the most! The toy in the Happy Meal was a Simon from 'Alvin & the Chipmunks' new movie. Do you know how annoying 14 squeaking toys can be??
While waiting on Sloan, I saw my niece, Olivia, with her classmates having lunch.
Oh, to be 6 years old again! NOT! Overall it was fun to be able to visit with my grandson and his friends.
Looks like everyone had fun.
