I've been asked how long these two parakeets have been together in the same cage...........Over a year.
How do I know the sex?................By the color of the cere...........
The male's is blue/purple while the female is white/tan.
I still have them separated and the poor male just sits and sulks while the female is still loud and bossy! :-)

I still got nothing...I hope you figure it out. Is it possible that it is a mating thing? Just wondering as I don't know a thing about bird behavior.
