Speaking of last week's sales, I did find a "Painted Horse" for $2! WooHoo!
This week's finds....
This table was grabbed as quickly as I could for $1!!! I planned to paint, but Justin said he would get me a clear coat and I would be surprised at how good it will look. We'll see.
Check out this great bed tray for $2!
A float for the pool ..$1... It has a small tear, but it works great!
A picnic basket for $2! Or as Yogi would say.. a pick-i-nic basket!
Another gift box for $1. The top look like a pillow..
Beaded tassels for $1 each.. I plan to use one of them with the table after it's finished.
A candlestick lamp ..$1. Got to find a shade..
Autobiographies from Goldie Hawn, Michael J. Fox and Miley Cyrus. The Drew Carey books looks like a lot of laughs. 50 cents to $1 each.
I've got plenty to read this summer! Have you ever watched the movie 'What ever happened to Baby Jane"? I have and that's why I bought the book.
The Pilates book looks interesting. It has all of the exercises with photos. The Church Social cookbook will NOT leave my house. Great recipes!
Brer' Rabbit...25 cents. I found the movie 'Song of the South' at a Christmas show and paid $40 for the DVD!! That's how bad I wanted it. It's "politically incorrect" according to experts. I say every kid should watch it!
And then I found this material for $1. It's a least a yard and would make beautiful valances.
And don't forget the mirror for $1.....
Hope everyone's Saturday was as productive.

that's a lot of finds! i love the shopaholic series, but the first one (confessions of a shopaholic) was my fave, and laugh out loud funny. maybe you could be on the lookout for that one, too. i actually orderd the trilogy off ebay b/c i wanted to have them all and it was cheaper than buying them in a bookstore. this was before my thrifting days!

You have some great finds! I love the mirror! And that table has me quite envious! I can't wait to see what you do with it!
What a haul! You know, I bet that round table for $1 will be beautiful once it's oiled and varnished. I really like the bed tray you got, too and the chenille bedspread it's sitting on top of. Great candlestic lamp, tassels, books and fabric, too.
I drive a Buick, too ;) Cute header picture.
Hi Charlotte! That fabric is very pretty. Your finds were great. I am in S.C. part time and am from there. Thanks for visiting me and commenting. ♣olive
p.s. your header is too cute
Wow, great finds!
I suppose as long as you can find deals like that there will never be any reason to dumpster dive. Good thing, with a law like that.
I wonder why they would have such a law, that forces stuff to the landfill. The environmentalists must be banging their heads on the wall in frustration.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
I was lucky to find your yardsalesandcrochet.blogspot.com site. Aw, this was a really qualitative post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
