My latest doily called Cappuccino. It's the last one from Patricia Kristofferson's booklet, Coffee and Cream Doilies.
I've been trying to learn to tat but after all these years of holding thread a certain way to create tension, it's hard to adjust tension to tat. But I'm not giving up! I will keep trying.

are you needle tatting or shuttle tatting..I took a class on the shuttle tatting as my great grandma also used to tat and mom has her old shuttles and one of the shuttles still has thread and a project attached to it. It takes awhile, but like crocheting there is no wrong way to hold your thread or your shuttle..as long as it works for you
Hi Charlotte, I always enjoy seeing your crocheting. Tatting is one thing that I never tried even though my mil and my hubbies grandmother both did. I have the needles and the shuttles maybe someday I will try. Tell you daughter a belated Happy Birthday. Take care Hugs and Prayers from a Missouri Friend.
So pretty! And good luck with your tatting...you can do it! :D
This is gorgeous. You've made a lovely job of it.
I really like it lots!!
I have one of her books, dainty little doilies at home. I'd love to find another of her books, she does such beautiful designs.
:)
Meant to say I have a little shuttle as well, but I haven't attempted tatting yet. I'm still thinking about it, lol.
:)
Charlotte,
Thanks so much for always stopping by! I am NOW following you, added you to my blog roll and I am so embarrassed that i had not done this sooner. I hate google + profiles because sometimes you cannot track back to the person's blog but now we have that settled!! LOL! I am so sorry that i did not get to do this sooner!!
Many Hugs,
Deb
