....reading your blogs, and enjoying the peace and quiet. The guys have gone night-fishing and I have the house to myself!
Yard sales were plentiful this morning but the pickings were slim. Found a "shell" clock and three picture thingys to put at the pool for $1...............

Pam found the sea-grass basket for 25 cents and gave it to me since I didn't have one. Measuring glass was 25 cents and the vintage cloth was $1. It is only tea towel size, but I wish it had been at least the size of a tablecloth.
This mermaid fits perfectly in my bathroom.....$1.........
My best deal was this Waverly comforter set $10! It included a bedskirt, pillow shams, and bolster pillow. It is reversible with a dark blue print on the other side........
Yesterday afternoon I staged a small seating arrangement on my front porch. This used to be the entrance to the front door......
It's nice and shady here, so I might use it to sneak away and read a good book.

Enjoyed visiting and seeing all the neat things you found. However, the most precious is the sweet little one.

Hi Charlotte, Your Miss Della is adorable and growing so fast. I love seeing pictures of her. Some people would make towels out of their table cloths when they got a tear, burned spot, or stains that wouldn't come out to salvage the good part. Have a wonderful Sunday.
