Crochet find at a yardsale!

Sorry! I messed up again! I think I know what to do next week! Wish me luck!Vintage Thursday at Colorado Lady! I have been looking forward to this week. Below is a picture of a bunch of crochet books I found at a yard sale . All for $1 !!! There are about 30 books dating from the late 1940's to the early 1950's. What a find!

The next 4 pictures are of the same bunch of books. I separated them so you could see more.

At the same yardsale, my husband bought this Victrola for $40. Right now, my grandsons have their TV sitting on top of it. As soon as they move the TV, I will post some pictures of the inside.

Hi Charolette..
Wow!!!!!!!!! You got a great buy. I probably would have fainted if she told me one dollar for all those books. I'm a crocheter and I have some of the ones you've shown..I take it you're a crocheter as well. I really like the patterns of the Bazaar book. I can remember also,my mother and grandmother using these pattern books. I just love your wonderful find.. Happy VTT..have a lovely weekend.

That was a SUPER Buy! I have a collection of crochet and knitting booklets and have never seen them for less than $3, and thought that was a good buy. I love the old crochet books with doilies and pot holders. You're a lucky gal. Thanks for sharing....Sue

Love the victrola - excellent price! Did it come with records, and does it work? You will have fun with it. Love your blog template. Gorgeous! You and I are both blog newbies - I started blogging in January also. It surely is fun, isn't it Charlotte?
Blessings to you - Beth

You got a great deal. I like looking through old crochet books, especially with baby clothes but I don't crochet :-(

Wow, you hit the jackpot with those crochet books! I love the old books, too, and never pass one up, even though I already have a bookshelf full of them (you can never have too many crochet patterns or too much thread, right?)
