Southern Spring Show

My husband's boss,Bob, gave my daughters and me passes to the Southern Spring Show held in Charlotte this weekend. Thanks, Bob! We had a great time admiring the beautiful flowers, plants and vignettes. Look at this cute little train going in between the flowers.

This is a butterfly on the floor that is made with the lights above.

This is my favorite booth - full of cat things! This same vendor is at the Southern Christmas Show every year. I hope someone noticed that I want one of these cats!
This was set up as a soda shop during WWII.

Butterflies! These are farm grown butterflies that are mounted between glass so that you can view their beauty from either side. Shh! Don't tell Holly that I bought one for her wedding shower!

I took this picture of a machine embroidered quilt to show my mother. This unfortunately was the only booth with any needlework. I'll just have to wait for the Christmas show.
Would you believe these are just Nandina bushes?

Beautiful tablescapes!

Redneck lounge chair?

Check out this late 50's-early 60's house! Even has someone sleeping in the front yard!

Back Patio.

My favorite car of all times, the 57 Chevy! My parents bought one off the show room floor when I was small.

More tablescapes.

We stopped at the Goodwill on the way home. Found this. Don't exactly know what it is , but I like it!

Some of my favorite finds are the ones that I have to stop and scratch my head and wonder what it is.

Finding the story behind it is a whole new treasure hunt!
