Pink Treasures

Welcome to Pink Saturday sponsored by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. I kept waking up every 30 minutes after 1:00, so I finally got up at 3:30. Going to yard sales around 6:45. Hope to find some goodies! I was about to think I had shown all of my pink things and then I remembered the pictures I had taken of my treasures stored in my "playhouse". I am going to have to post a story on my "playhouse" that Justin built for me to put all of my yard sale treasures one day.
The first photo is of a dozen red roses that Justin gave me for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago. I know, this is supposed to be Pink Saturday not Red, but they have dried to a beautiful 'almost' pink color. I just left them in the vase and they dried beautifully. I did not intend for this to happen, but I'm glad it did. I didn't realize there is a pink head vase also in the picture (barely)!

This is a painting that I found at a yard sale a couple of years ago. I bought it because I liked it, no other reason.
Isn't this the sweetest little ceramic you have ever seen?
And last but not least, one of a few handkerchiefs that I have collected. I can't remember if Mother gave this to me or if I bought it at a yard sale.

Happy Pink Saturday!

YOu really have to wake that early? It IS very early! But then you have something fun to look forward to. :-)

About the roses, isn't there a color named "old rose"? ANd The ceramic one is cute with the couple and has a touch of whimsy in it.

Belated Happy PS!

My Yankee hubby doesn't care to see pink around, so I keep mine to a minimum. LOL

Thanks for stopping by my blog Charlotte, muchly appreciated! I like to keep and dry roses as well, I can't bring myself to throw them away! Eventually the petals fall so I collect them to make a nice pot-pourri that grows over the years, a drop of rose oil preserves the petals :)
