Yard Sale Saturday

Whew! Micki and I are really finding good buys these past three weeks. At one yard sale, I came away with a box of 'cats'! Check it out! Isn't this the cutest birdbath?
Brass candlestick, cat, pewter cat, clown and cat clock.....

Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil............

Two figurines.........
Trinket box and two cute kitties..........

              Three cool cats...............

Another set of cute kitties and one is a picture frame........

A teapot.....

A fairy and another cat.... All for $10!! That's not even a $1 apiece!

At another yard sale, I found a tea cup and after digging in boxes, I found the saucer to match......$1

Found this little set also along with a set of dominos that I gave to Gavin.....$1 each

A dresser scarf...........50 cents

A Biscotti jar (50 cents)

A duck planter ($2)..........

A mirror and two ring holders(50 cents each)....

A butterfly pin for Holly ($1) and an egg trinket box ($1)....

Look what's inside the egg trinket box....................

A 1957 Beverly Cleary book (50 cents)- Henry and the Paper Route. I used to love to read about Henry and Ramona!

Second printing 1966......
Rafiki from Lion King (couldn't find his stick), two penguins from Surf's up, Bullseye from Toy Story, Tinkerbell, and Blue M&M....($1 for all)

Long mirror (6x21"). I don't know what fascinates me about mirrors because I have several hanging in my house. Not one here and one there, but three or four in one place! ($1)

Two picture frames (10x20) for $2 each.

Check out the original price stickers on these frames! $35.99!!! Who in their right mind would pay that much for a picture frame?

Parrot music box. Haven't been able to get the music box to work yet. I didn't even know it was a music box until I was walking back to the car.... (50 cents)

Somewhere to put my glasses. The only problem with that is I never take my glasses off except to shower, swim or sleep. I think I will give this to Justin because he can never remember where he left his! ($1)

A bobble-head rooster for Mother...........($1)

A wedding cake candle (50 cents). Can you guess why I bought this?

Billy Graham's autobiography, The Doctor's book of Home Remedies for Women, and 150 Crochet Trims...($2 each)

A "New Moon" poster (25 cents) and board game ($3) for Kayla. The boardgame still had the plastic wrap!

And last but not least, Micki found this dress for Kayla ($1)!

Until next week...... UhOh, I forgot about the wedding!! Oh well, it's not until 3 pm. Plenty of time for junkin! :)

You got some fantastic things. With the way I work,I don't get to go to many yard sales..but this year I;m gonna try and change that. I love everything you got..the book of crochet trims was a great find..those kitties and the bird bath..you did well.
And of course we can work out a trade for some patterns. Is it the jar topper book of patterns you wanted? Do yo want me to try and scan it in for you? It may take me a couple of days to find that book again, I put most of my pattern books like that away, but I will find it if you would like it scanned.
