Happy Rednesday! Haven't been by in a while, but I am joining everyone for Rednesday sponsored by Sue at It's a very cherry world. My grandson's, Gavin and Sloan, ball team had a game last night and finally almost won! This was a big feat for these boys because all but three of them had never stepped onto a ballfield before March of this year. They have come a long way since then and they really made the other team earn their points last night. I got so excited when they would make a hit and get on base. I was jumping up and down and yelling! :) This is my grandson, Gavin. He will be twelve in July. He is my husband's and my "son", because I was in the delivery room when he was born by ceaseran section. I got to carry him to the nursery to be weighed - 9lbs6oz! Now look at him, nothing but bones!
This is his little brother, Sloan. Sloan is eight and the bat-boy for the team.
He loves to eat, so I make sure I bring snacks for him.
Here are some of the boys on the team. Gavin is in the middle (glasses).
This is their head coach, Chris.
We have another game tonight and I know these boys are tired. Please pray that they can win a game because this is the last game this seaon. Happy Rednesday!

Well, I certainly hope the Bulldogs win their game.:) My son is nearing the end of his season as well, very nail biting season...they play the #1 team this weekend. His team is in 4th place.
Oh the joys of summer!
Fondly,

That's so funny, that they finally almost won! As long as they're having fun, that's the most important thing, right?!
