I started a new crochet project yesterday also. It's called "Tabletop Roses" and is in the February 2011 Crochet World magazine. It looks like filet but the majority of the pattern is written instructions.
I thought I would make this one in black instead of red or white.
My mother finished embroidering these blocks for me and now I need to find the right material to use to make a quilt.
Aren't they adorable? I found these patterns at red-brolly.typepad.com. She makes beautiful quilts and I would love to be able to buy one.
