Do the Snoopy Happy dance!

WooHoo! Finally yard sales are starting!!

Jump for joy!! The first one we (Micki and the boys) went to this morning was a church yard sale. I found  a mixer for $5. There were a couple newer models, but this one was the only one with a bowl and it's the kind my mother used to use, so I knew it was a good one.

Bought three books...

I need to start reading some of these books, but I love my crochet! Here is my latest doily..

Sloan found this beautiful 'young' lady for me ...

The girls are going south!! :-)  I found this framed doily also..

Sloan also found this trinket box. Isn't it darling?

He really did good at one yard sale. The lady told him to fill a bag with toys for 25 cents a bag! He filled two bags!!

The best find was for Micki. I found this Disney Snow White globe-thingy. It has the evil queen talking to the magic mirror. It actually has sound and recites the "Mirror, mirror on the wall' scene. It was marked $20 but the lady said she would take $15. I told Micki I would buy it for her birthday.

Look at the price on the sticker that was on the bottom!! Score!

It's a beautiful day here in SC. I'm going to try to see the "Super Moon" tonight. Hope you have a great weekend!

Wow, that was quite a haul! I was looking around for garage sale signs today on my way home from a little antique shop, but I didn't see any. It was such a beautiful day, I figured there would be quite a few.

Your doily is so pretty, as usual.

Love that mixer! We have several older one's and love them. I buy books and tell myself no more until I read them and then I can't resist and buy more...so my TBR pile is huge. Thanks for joining JFF!! hugs, Linda

I want to go garage-sale-ing with you! I love the framed doily but it doesn't hold a candle to the ones that you crochet. You made a great haul!
