Knitting is not for me!

After ripping out 4 times, I finally decided to just knit until all of this lovely "ribbon" yarn was used. We had seen this yarn at the Women's Show last month and we all wanted it. I tried to crochet following the video on the Red Heart website, but it just didn't want to cooperate. Although it is a beautiful yarn and makes a beautiful scarf, I will not be using it again, unless someone can think of an easier way to use it. Knitting is too slow for me. So now I need to find something to crochet!

Hmm..pretty yarn..but not so sure I would know what to do with it..I have tried to knit, I can't. I just don't feel comfortable with the needles and the yarn..I may pick it up again and try someday, but not anytime soon.

Well it sure turned out beautiful, even if it was a struggle. I have some lace ribbon yarn a friend bought me overseas as a souvenir, and I have no clue what to do with it. So it just sits in the stash, looking pretty and unusable! You've done well with yours!

I cannot do either one. Don't give up. You will do fine.

I know how you feel, knitting is more difficult for me. Not straight knitting, like my washcloths, but anything else just takes me longer. I do love to crochet. The yarn was really beautiful, but those specialty yarns can be a little bugger to work with. I think you did great!
