So much to look at and not enough money!

Back from shopping trip with Janet and Micki. My feet are killing me but we had a great time at Hobby Lobby. I think we were in there 2 hours! I bought some yarn to finish the pink and green blanket. I tried the blue with the green but it just didn't work. So after consulting the color wheel, I decided the blue needed to be paired up with peach and orange. Hope it looks as good as my mind says it will.
The small skein is sock yarn for another project. Janet asked if she bought the yarn would I make her an afghan. Why sure! She had to literally close her eyes and just pick a main color. She picked a variegated teal, brown and gold. The picture doesn't do justice to the beautiful colors.
After we ate lunch at Chili's, we went to Michael's, Books-a-Million, and Pier 1. Here are a few things I would love to have from Pier 1...

Do you see the enormous fork and knife? There was a whisk around the corner that was just as big!    $70 !!!!!

Sounds like you had a great time. My mom had wooden fork and spoon on her wall..I never could figure out why..oh well..I like the african flower squares too by the way. I have alot of yarn that I bought thinking I was going to make slippers..lol..well anyway now I have to figure out what to do with the yarn..I am thinking maybe a granny square afghan..might take me awhile as I tend to put off the yarn stuff. Have a great day Charlotte..Blessings
