Baby Shower Fun

We had a baby shower for my son's new baby Sunday afternoon. I made a 'diaper motorcycle' from instructions in the May 21 issue of Woman's World.

These are just the gifts from me and daughters, Janet and Micki. She received so many great gifts.
This is the table before we added the other food.
The candy favors were a big hit with my 6-year-old niece, 2-year-old grand-niece, and Holly's 4-year-old cousin.
Micki made this wreath using receiving blankets, toys, and baby lotions.
The punch was from an idea found on the internet using Kool-Aid, white grape juice and ginger ale. I couldn't find the blue Kool-Aid so I used the 'invisible' flavor and blue food coloring. The original idea was to add pineapple sherbet to create the 'bath bubbles', but we didn't use any. Everyone liked the 'rubber ducky' theme.
My mother made this baby quilt a couple of years ago and has kept it specifically for Craig and Holly.

Look at those Shirley Temple curls on Holly's cousin's head! Isn't she precious?

We had a great time and can't wait for the new baby due in July. Hope it debuts on my birthday!   :-)
