Too hot to fish, too hot for golf, too hot to yard sale!

Boy, is it hot! 103 degrees today! Maybe that's why we didn't find too many yard sales this morning. I did find a few things. A dragon to add to my Chinese collection .. 50 cents...
Statue of Liberty ... 50 cents..

 Brass bells... 50 cents...
I'm going to paint the candle holder and either use it with candles or Christmas balls.. $1..
Books $1 each and yarn 25 cents..
Paper plates and napkins.. 25 cents apiece....I got 4 sets..
Exercise ball $1.....After the boys get through playing with it, I might use it to make a chandelier. I have seen  many websites using balls and Mod Podge to make a lamp or chandelier.
$2 for this plant thingy. I has a spigot to attach a water hose .....

This is my progress using the sock yarn......
Stay cool and have a great weekend!

Hey you got some great deals !I'm so looking forward to seeing your ' chandelier' made out of the ball. What project are you making with the sock yarn? The african flower motifs are looking pretty.

Thank you for dropping in on my blog:)

Hi Charlotte!
Thanks for stopping by my blog to let me know that you visit often. I do the same for a lot of blogs as well but don't always have something to say. Very kind of you to let me know you've been a secret visitor which gave me a chance to come over to your blog. Looks like we are kindred spirits with the yard sale. You got some great finds despite the weather, which we are also experiencing. That faucet is a great idea. I to run the water hose to the deck and a water spout would be great!

Keep blogging and yard sale-ing!

Hey, when you read "Heaven is For Real" (good and a quick read) you will find a pastor named Orvall Butcher mentioned who happens to be my first cousin once removed AND another pastor and his wife, Steve and Rebecca Wilson and they were our pastors once upon a time in Indiana!!!!

It's hot here too - - - still 89 at 8:15ish and my silly goofy hubby IS out fishing on a huge reservoir this late afternoon. Goofy man that I married.
