Saturday news

After a gloomy and rainy Saturday last week, I was relieved that today was beautiful. Sunny and temperatures rising to 80 degrees! Yard sales, especially community-wide, were abundant this morning. Pam was in the mountains again, so Janet went with me. It's a good thing it was just me and her because we had to lay the back seats down when we found these for $15........
Here's what the car looked like before we unpacked.................
I got this baby doll stroller ($3) and baby doll ($1) for Della.........
Free seashells..............free is always good! We put these at the pool area.
Puppies with a carrier for Pam's granddaughter, Vivien..............
This is a Danbury Mint collection for $4. My brother-in-law, Mike, is a Clemson fan.
Tupperware cups 10 cents each......with lids!
Isn't this lady rabbit beautiful? It was marked $2, but the lady let me have it for $1!
Mickey Mouse, Chip n' Dale, Jasmine (from Alladin), and Curious George....all for a quarter!
Three fly swatters (25 cents each) and two whisky glasses (10 cents each)....
A dirt bike for Sloan $1.....................
Davey Jones (Pirates of the Caribbean) for $1..................
 Shower curtain $2...............................
 Crystal deer $1.50...........................
Some kind of puzzle thingy for $1......
I don't know what it is about hands that I love, but I found another one for 50 cents...
In the wastebasket ($1), there is a bag of yarn. I got it and the bag behind it for $5. Under the other bag is a shadow box frame, never opened for $1.
Here's the yarn from both bags laid out on my bed...........
The fuzzy brown is Patron's Bohemian. Someone had already crochet three blocks with the rust and gold as borders.
The fuzzy baby yarn had been crocheted into a square and a rectangle. Got two hooks (size k and N) along with the yarn.
I will probably rip these two projects apart and save the yarn because whoever crocheted these put knots in the yarn. Look at this mess...............

These are just two of the many knots in both projects!
I'm pooped and my feet hurt! Hope you have a great weekend!

You always seem to find great stuff when you go yard saling - when I go, I just find junk. I will keep trying though. :)
