I am an afghan hoarder!

There, I said it! I knew I had some afghans packed away but was unaware of just how many I had until I started organizing the other day. This will be a multi-photo post, so bear with me. This is not counting the afghans that I have in the house (or the ones I have given away)!

This one is made with LionBrand Homespun yarn.......
 Cotton yarn ripple.............

 My attempt at freeform.................

This was made with chenille yarn when it first came out......

 Scrappy afghan.........................

 Another Homespun yarn afghan..................

I made this one for Justin years ago....see the stain?
I am most proud of this one. It is made with size 10 thread and is a pattern from 1940's....
Another thread project. I was working on this one in 2007 waiting in the hospital when my mother had her first stroke.

 Baby afghans......................

This one has to be over twenty years old because it is one of the first Annie's Attic Mile-a-Minute afghans...............

This is a knitted baby afghan that I made while I was still in high school. I had learned to knit in the ninth grade from my Home Ec teacher.

And last, but not least, my latest afghan........
I also found a bunch of doilies that I had forgotten about. Maybe I'll post pictures of them another day.

They're all beautiful, Charlotte :-) I can see why you've kept them; when you put a lot of work into a project it's hard to let go. I'm making one of the Annie's Attic rings blankets right now :-) Thanks for sharing your collection.

Amazing!!! What a lovely collection. :-) I can imagine how much effort it would have taken to make so many afghans.
Waiting to see the doily pics.

The ones in my closet for the most part are there. Kindly made, can't be disposed off, but made in yarns available to those who made them, not in the colors most suited to each other. There are a few holiday ones in the closet that get rotated out. The rest are displayed all over the house.

Yours deserve recognition. They are beautiful, amazing work.

My question is this...where on earth were they hidden? I don't have that much closet space..you do wonderful work.

Wow, Charlotte, those are some beautiful afghans!! Love all of them, and bless your heart on making the thread ones! I love to make doilies, but wouldn't have the patience to make an afghan using thread. LOL
