Saturday News

Beautiful day today considering the hail storm we had yesterday afternoon. Trash and debris was in the roads and yards this morning when we went yard saling. Pam and Janet went with me this morning and we packed the car full. Janet found a toddler bed and toy basketball hoop for Ashton's stepson, Xander. I didn't get any pictures of them but they were great deals.

Here's my haul...................... a shadow box for the bathroom $5.........
 .........an interactive chipmunk $1.....................
 .....................three cans 25 cents each.........................
............elephant candle holder 50 cents. I found the candle (50 cents) at another yard sale..
Toy grocery cart 75 cents and pink cowboy boots 75 cents...........
These are for Della, not me!
 A Zen garden set $1.....................................
Here it is after I put it together...................
Crochet thread 50 cents each ........hand 25 cents...............
Timers 25 cents each.............I just bought one at Walmart this week for $4!
Google eyes 25 cents a pack.................
70 packs of dishwasher tablets.  The lady had a dollar per bag but I got it from $7 to $6. I asked her why she was selling them and she said she had bought a large box and would never use them all. What? Why buy a large amount if you're not going to use it?
 Flower stand $2.......................
 Hedge clippers $20......................
Hope you have a great Memorial Day!

Now that's a successful day of garage sale hopping! You got some good stuff.

And congrats on having your afghan featured in the newsletter. You deserve it. It's a beauty! I really love your Indian one too.

Hi Charlotte!
Wonderful things again!
I liked that elephant candle holder a lot , it is an Indian elephant for sure.
The shadow box is awesome, such small details.
