Crockpot Lasagna

Several of you have inquired about the recipe for crockpot lasagna. There are several recipes on the web, but this is how I make it. The picture shows meat sauce first, but you can start with noodles if you want.

  1. Brown 1-lb ground beef; drain.
  2. Add a jar or can of spaghetti sauce. This does not have to heat or cook.
  3. I spray my crockpot with a vegetable oil spray to help with clean up.
  4. Break a couple of uncooked lasagna noodles and place in crockpot.
  5. Then add 1/3 to 1/2 of meat sauce.
  6. Add cottage cheese or ricotta, spreading over sauce.
  7. Add some mozzarella cheese on top of cottage cheese.
  8. Repeat layers ending with meat sauce.
  9. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  10. Cook on low for 4 hours. Mine is usually done after 3.

Hope you enjoy as much as my family does.

Thanks so much for sharing.
