Saturday News

I'm a "fishing widow" this weekend! Not complaining, I love the peace and quiet but I do miss them! Janet and I went to yard sales Saturday morning. We found a lot of sales but not much was bought.
A metal bird, soda straw container, and a Mrs. Butterworth's bottle.............
 Mr. Peabody and Sherman.....................
 .............a gnome shelf sitter..................
 ..............a puppy for Pam's granddaughter, Vivien...............it barks!
 ...........magazine files..........there are four...................
 ............ a bear for Pam's mountain cabin......................
Mr. Peabody and Sherman joined Barney and other friends...............
 Mrs. Butterworth's found a place..................
The soda straw container is in the beverage area...............
 The gnome is shelf sitting.................
Don't know how long the bird will stay standing on the birdbath..........
Later, Janet and I went to Books a Million. After watching the Lifetime movies, I had to have the original books.................Great reading when we go to the beach in a couple of weeks.
Justin sent some pictures of the fishing trip via his phone. Looks like they're having a good time.

They'll be back later today, so I made some crockpot lasagna......
...........cinnamon rolls...............I saw this on Pinterest....instead of putting each roll on a pan, lay them log-shaped in a dish! Can't wait to dive in!
........... a fresh gallon of green tea............
Craig, Holly, and Della went to the beach this weekend. They took Della to Ripley's Aquarium and she met a mermaid..................

Holly said she cried when they had to leave because she wanted to hold the mermaid!
I started a crochet project but don't know how far I will get with it because the pattern doesn't sound right. I'm going to try a little more before I completely give up.

 See ya later!

Hi Charlotte--
Looks like you are "making the most" of your alone time-- some great finds for your collections! Those boys sure look like they are having a great time. Some wonderful memories for them.

Thank you for your visit--- you really must grab a girlfriend and go to the Biltmore-- there is so much there to see and do. My husband loves it there as much as I do :)

Love
Vicki

Lovely to see all the 'boys' together like that as well.

I also want to know about crock pot lasagne please. I've never seen it made that way but it sounds good!!
