Saturday News

Here I sit, all alone! The "men" have gone fishing and camping and won't be back until tomorrow! Boo hoo hoo! Yeah, right! Peace and quiet!
Janet and I went yard saling this morning. There were plenty of yard sales but not a lot of the 'junk' we like. My best buy was this Pawley's Island swing and hammock for $30!

 Another globe for $3.....
 Four large plastic tumblers $2.......
This pumpkin was marked $11.99 from Hobby Lobby. I got it for 50 cents...
Two "noise makers" for the kids $1 each. I like playing with them too!
Two cat plates 25 cents each and a South Carolina plate for 50 cents....
Two wooden "build your own engineering vehicle" for $1 each with one already built for free!
 A quilt for $1!
 A beautiful tablecloth for $4.....
I'll probably just use this for special occasions.

I've completed part 16 of Sophie's Universal CAL.
I've even started making one with size 10 thread.
Now, I'm going to put my feet up, check my e-mail, heat up the pizza and wait for Outlander to come on later tonight.

Great finds, once again, Charlotte! Yay, you! :D Those tumblers are pretty, and wow...a dollar each for that quilt and tablecloth!! Your Sophie's Universe (both of 'em) looks great! :)

I have yet to start my Sophie because I can't decide on colors. Yours is lovely.
