Baseball Game

Welcome to Rednesday sponsored by Sue at It's a Very Cherry World. Please visit each participant and leave a comment. This week my Rednesday contribution is my grandsons and husband at their first ball game. This was last night and bless their hearts, they tried but did not win. It's all fun and that is what these young men are told by their coaches. Some of these boys have never played on a real baseball field before.  These two handsome lads are my grandsons, Sloan (8) and Gavin (11).

This is the first time wearing their uniforms. Sloan is on the left and Gavin on the right. They have the same Mother, but different dads. Gavin has our last name because his father denied him., but Sloan's dad claims him as his son.

Getting ready in the dugout..........

Coach Grandpa!

Warming up.....

Hard to see, but Gavin is ready to play....

Sloan is the bat boy....

Ain't he precious? All boy!
Happy Rednesday!

Hi Charlotte!

Boy, does these pictures ring a bell! My dad is still right there in with all three of my nephews at most ball games. And considering one (17 yr. old) is on 2 traveling teams and a local team, the 16 yr. old is on one baseball team and a golf league and the youngest (14 yer.old) is on 2 traveling teams, it is always a chaoic summer here. all of us take turns driving and going to different games.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!

Your grandsons are so cute, and I bet their first game was pretty exciting! I'm so glad to hear that they're being taught that having fun is the most important thing about it, and it's not all about winning!
Happy REDnesday!

All your boys are adorable. My dad was a high school baseball coach for 37 years so I can really relate to baseball season. Go team!
