Cleaning my playhouse

First Saturday in months that I have stayed at home and did not go to yard sales. There just weren't enough out for me to waste my gas trying to find them. So, after cleaning the house, I started working on straightening my 'playhouse'. The playhouse started out as an addtition to a mobile home. When our neighbors built a new home, they gave the addition to Justin for helping with the drywall in their new house. It was only half of a building and Justin added the other half to make it a 'house'. We used it for storage for a few years until he built a larger bulding for his 'man-junk'. He added drywall and carpet to the playhouse so I could store part of my yard sale collections.

We are going to paint the porch and rails white and the body of the house green. I started cleaning by vacuuming dead ladybugs and spiderwebs. This is a view of one corner when you enter the house. I have furnished with some unused furniture from our house.
View to the right........

View to the left..........
View towards the front of the house.........
View towards the door......... The 'thing' coming out of the ceiling is what is left over from previous owners' wood burning stove.
This is the 'newest' part of the building.

This is looking from the 'new' part to the 'old' part of the building.

Looks like I have a lot of 'junk', doesn't it? I felt just like a little girl playing house today while I was cleaning and decorating. But boy am I tired! Took me a hot shower and now I'm going to sit down, prop my feet up, watch some TV and work on my latest crochet project. I'm making an afghan for Kayla who loves hot pink. Think this is hot pink enough?

I had to add another color so I picked the lime green. Wild! Hope everyone has a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!

I love your playhouse. How great you have a play to display and store your things. The hot pink and green is wonderful, I know it will be loved.
