Swap question

I am so bored! Waiting on the long weekend to get here!! I have been reading several blogs that mention "swapping" with another blogger. Is there a certain blog that does this or does each individual blogger decide who to swap with? I think it would be so fun to swap with someone in another state or country, different crafts or whatever. If anyone has information on swapping, I would appreciate it.
This is how I feel sometimes ...........
Happy Tuesday!

Your picture made me laugh! If you get any information on a good crochet swap, let me know! I'd LOVE to do that too!

Swapping is arranged by anyone who wishes to start one up. You can post about the theme...and then ask people to sign up for it if they are interested...and when you've compiled a list, you can pair couples up with one another - get their mailing addresses, and have them exchange whatever it is they create!

It is a lot of fun. Then you would post and share all of the swapped items...or just the one you made..and the one you personally received for yourself!

Hope this was helpful. If you ever have any other questions you'd like to throw my way, just send me an email and I'll do my best!

Your little poster cracked me up. Boy, do I have a video for you if you can handle a little four-letter humor...

I signed up for a blog swap one year; handmade Christmas ornaments. I really enjoyed it, but it happened at one of the busiest times of year for me, difficult to find spare time, and so I haven't signed up for another one since. When I posted the ornament I received in the mail, I got an email from a follower boldly asking if we could do our own holiday swap for a year, just the two of us. So we sent things back and forth to each other for several months on various holidays. That was kind of fun, too, and not quite as worrisome as a swap with deadlines.

Some groups on Ravelry, Crochetville and Yahoo Groups do swaps, too.

Oh my goodness, I thought I was getting more patient too, come to find out it's the other. ;-) Thanks for the smiles.

Hi Charlotte - I can do a 'friendly swap' with you if you'd like. My email is dlyrs@juno.com if you're interested. :)
