Welcome to my blog about yard sales, crochet, my family and my life. A yard sale map in one hand and a crochet hook in the other.

Oh Baby!

Finally the weekend has arrived! I'm joining Beverly and others for Pink Saturday. Come join us!
I finished a couple of baby blankets this week. The first one is a Round Ripple Afghan. Pattern here.
The second one is a Wool-Eater or Bavarian stitch afghan. Pattern here.
I got a new book in the mail yesterday, Annie's Attic 101 Crochet Stitch Patterns and Edgings.

Can't wait to start experimenting with all of these great stitches. Some of them I haven't seen before.
They're calling for rain tomorrow but I hope it waits until after the yard sales are over.
Have a great weekend!

WOW, Charlotte, you are SO talented - those are just beautiful!

I never learned how to do anything like that, knitting, embroidery, crocheting, quilting - just never had the patience, and truly appreciate other's remarkable talents.

Keep up the good work, it is really impressive!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Both of your baby blankets are pretty. I hope you were able to do your yard-saling this morning. :)

I have done handwork in the past but never learned how to do this. You do a super job.
