Birthday, college and yard sales!

Today is Micki's 36th birthday. Happy Birthday!

Boy, there were neighborhood yard sales everywhere yesterday! There were so many that we couldn't get to all of them. But Micki and I had a good time and found a few treasures. We left the house at 6:45am and didn't  get back home until after 12! I found an anti-gravity chair for $3! It is a little worn but great for using around the pool...
The last house we visited was beautiful. The backyard was on the edge of Lake Wylie and was breathtaking.
The couple that owned the house were so chsrming and very friendly. I got a cooler for $7. It was marked $10 but because I bought a few other things and it was so late, I was able to negotiate.
It had been electrical at one time but will now be a great cooler for drinks. Here are a few photos of my treasures......
Electric egg cooker/poacher, trinket boxes, seagull and fish decoration for the pool, Pyrex dish, monkey candleholder, lamp ($3!!)...
Life-ring mirror for the pool house, silk amarylis, stuffed possum,Woody doll...
Two elephant pillows for the couch...
A closeup of the birdhouse trinket boxes...
Ten handkerchiefs for 50 cents each...
A closeup of the stuffed possum...

My daughter-in-law, Holly, graduated from college yesterday. Congratulations!
How was your weekend?

Oh Wow--what great finds! I'm really liking that cooler for 7 bucks and the pretty hankies. They could come in handy for some unique crafting. Good for you! Thanks for stopping by my blog today, Victoria
