Monday news

Warmer weather predicted for this week! Ah, the South! Never a dull moment! Don't like the weather today? Well, just wait, it'll change tomorrow! We even had an earthquake! I didn't feel it, but Janet and Kayla did.
I don't like to buy patterns if I can find them for free. I have been eyeing this pattern for a while and could not find a free one, so I finally broke down and bought it. After making it, I don't understand why it couldn't be found for free. It wasn't as complicated as it looks. In fact, once you make the center and start on one of the "fans", you can do it without referring to the pattern. I haven't blocked it yet, so it's sorta wonky.
Pattern here.
I tried to get a picture of my hands crocheting, but it's not exactly what I want. I'll get my daughter-in-law, Holly, to get a good picture for me.
Happy Monday!

Good Morning, I hope the sun comes out today. I love to watch your crocheting. My mom use to do that a lot. It has been a long time since I have done it. I loved you Indian Afghan. It is so pretty. Our snow hasn't melted yet. Hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

Oh that's nice!! I haven't seen one that shape before.

It was so nice to see the pic of you crocheting. I noticed I hold my hook different to you. Do you change holds or always the same way??
I'm sure I don't hold it the way most do, but I'm comfy, lol.

Spectacular! I've seen a couple done in rainbows and I've been completely mesmerized. Seeing it in white now makes my legs wobbly! It's beautiful!

I love this pattern !! I have seen it in multiple colors by the name of fractals. Yours look very nice.
I have also been searching for the free pattern. At one point of time I got the diagram but it wasn't that explanatory and the very few words on the diagram were also from different language which I could not copy paste to translate.

That is beautiful! And I don't think it's wonky at all- It's fabulous & reminds me of a seashell!
I actually like it better "the wonky way" than the harsh edges shown with the ravelry pictures.
