Saturday News

Wow! I can't believe I haven't posted in ten days! That's a record for me. I just haven't had anything to say! I can hear my family now going "yeah, right!"
Any hoo, I finished the three panels for my latest project, Rose Garden Afghan from the latest issue of Crochet World. There are 231 rows of Tunisian crochet in each panel. I started out using a stitch marker to keep count on the first panel, moving it every 25 rows. Then on the last two panels I weaved a piece of colored yarn in every 25 rows. I didn't remove them until I reached 231. So much easier to keep count!

You can see my "stitch marker yarn" still in one panel below. I left these in this panel so I would know that this is the center panel.

Now the fun begins, embroidering the roses.

I'll post a picture when I get one done. Ta ta for now. Have a great weekend!

Oh I like that!! It's so pretty.
I can't wait to see how it looks when you finished. I like tunisian crochet. I've only done the basic stitch so far but I really enjoyed it.

Are you going to embroider the roses as shown or do you have your own colour scheme??

:)
