Friday news

I have quite a bit of news to share with all of my friends. This has been an eventful week for our family. First, two birthdays....Micki and Mother. Second, I finished my latest crochet project..

That's where the good news ends. Wednesday morning, my sister-in-law's husband died suddenly. He was only 39 and the autopsy pointed to heart disease. So sad because he leaves behind his wife and five-year-old daughter.
I have had a law suit against my former employer for almost a year. Because of my spinal injury in 2007, I am unable to perform manual labor. Human Resources lied and said I declined a Functional Capability Assessment. Lying bastards! Because I did not want to spend any more money and they refused to compensate me, my lawyer and I agreed to dismiss the case. So, forgive me, but I hope they rot in hell! Twenty-eight and a half years of service and this is how I'm treated. The good news is the company is closing in a few months! So there! (sticking my tongue out and middle finger up!)

I'm so sorry about your sister-in-law's husband. That's such a tragedy. My prayers go out to you and your family.
Your blanket is beautiful, and I'm glad to hear the company is getting what they deserve.

I love your finished crochet blanket, I like that you have joined it all together with a mesh stitch, it looks very classy :-)

Sorry that you had to drop the law suit against your former employer. Glad to hear the company is getting what they deserve. Karma is a b**ch.
