Saturday News

Cool Saturday morning here in SC! I had to bring out the long pants and jacket! Pam's in the mountains again this weekend, so I was by myself going to a few yard sales in town. The church where Pam's granddaughter, Vivien, goes to pre-school was having a small yard sale this morning and I also found a couple more.
Love this old Raggedy Ann (50 cents). I didn't notice until I got home that she has a music box inside her that plays "Lullaby".
Free blue glass, pitcher (50 cents), crystal vase $1......
 .....tall candle $1.................
 .............free Cheerios spoon!
Book of cartoon classics $1.50 and a hymnal for 50 cents.
This is how old the hymnal is...........1925!
Scooby-Doo and Shaggy in the Mystery Machine.....50 cents...
 ...........angel 10 cents..................
.............birdcage $2 and silk plant $1..........................
This is what I did with them.................

I've been working on some Christmas gifts so I can't reveal my current crochet project, but I will show you the "pile". I need to organize!
Della was a flower girl in another wedding last weekend. Holly's brother, Harrison, married his sweetheart, Kelly. They just graduated from college two days before! Congratulations!
 Della and daddy, Craig....
Isn't this the most precious thing you ever saw?

Have a great weekend!

I am always amazed at the wonderful goodies you find at garage sales! My favorites this week are the book with the Flintstones on the cover, bird cage, blue glass and Raggedy Ann. :) Della is as cute as ever, and congratulations to the new couple! :) I hit the Good Will yesterday, and found a couple things. Need to wash them up before I take pics.

yep, Della is one very special girl. Lucky grandma you are. Is that a pile of all the blankets you have made..and why are they piled up? I do that with my doilies before I block them..and then it is overwhelming..man if those are all blankets you have been busy..if they are all Christmas gifts, how blessed are those that are going to receive them..
