Antiquing

It seems that yard sales are almost non-existent these days so Pam and I went antiquing yesterday. We went to a new antique mall called Catawba River Antique Mall in Belmont,NC. It's located in an old mill and is huge! We were in there for 4 hours and they almost closed before we could finish! They even have shopping carts which really come in handy.

Here are some inspiration photos.....................

I so wanted this sweet old lady but didn't want to pay $45! She's a Richard Simmons doll and her name is Aunt Della Mae!!
I about flipped when I saw the price on this clock because it is the same one I have in my kitchen! I have come close to taking it down !
 This is mine....................
This is what I did buy......................hamburger, hot dog, and grill salt and pepper shaker set. It was 50% off!
This is not a good picture but I couldn't get it to stand up right. It's a bird made from spoons and forks!
 Got to have my hands!
A chicken feeder or waterer............all glass!
For right now, I put marbles in it but I think it would great to put M&M's in it. They would be small enough to fall through into the feeder bowl.
We had a great time and plan to go back soon. Thursday we plan on going to the Southern Women's Show in Charlotte. See ya later!
