Saturday News

This post will be loaded with pictures, so get ready! Janet and I had a late start Saturday morning because it was so cold! But we did hit a few yard sales and this is what I found.....
............a Saints hat for Sloan $15.......hated to pay that much but it was clean and fairly new...
 .......a cast iron baboon $2.....................
.......two brand new stadium seats for $10 each...............
Janet bought this for me 75 cents.................
Looks like Christmas, doesn't it? We hit an estate sale that was in a house. I would have loved to have met this lady because it was very obvious she was a crafter and a quilter...........

I went crazy and spent $75 here!!! This lady had any type and color of fabric you could want!

Justin, Sloan, and Rodney took two junked vehicles to the scrap yard and then brought home this.............a '46 Chevrolet!
They had to stop at the car wash because it was covered in dirt and pine needles!

 Xander helps Sloan unload tires..............

Then we all got cleaned up and went bowling! Well, we bowled a little, but let Xander do most of the bowling!
This little two-year-old was carrying these heavy bowling balls! It was all I could do to lift one!

After the game was over, the "kids" hit the video games..........

Leave it to Rodney to keep us laughing.......

What a fun-filled day!

Great craft finds, Charlotte! I've been to a craft estate sale; it would be nice to speak to the crafter. Beautiful fabric :-) The truck is really cool, a fun project. And I love the pics from the bowling alley. Glad everyone had fun. Have a good weekend :-)
