Poncho love

South Carolina is not used to 15 degree weather! That's how cold it is this morning and expecting the same over the next few days.

Give me sun, sand, and surf anyday! Kids are going to school two hours late. Gavin had two of his friends spending the night. Three 16-17 year-olds along with a 13 year-old!!
I got my first order from my Facebook page. An old friend wanted a poncho in shades of brown.
When I started on this, I used the wrong size hook which made the cowl neck too small. Rather than ripping it out, I just started over with the correct hook, With the smaller cowl I made a poncho for Della. Isn't this cute?
I hope she'll wear it. I'm going to try to start on the parrot today. Staying warm while watching Life Below Zero marathon and doing nothing!!My kind of day!

They're both beautiful, Charlotte. I'm sure Della will like hers. Stay warm!
