Saturday News

Pam and I spent all day shopping and boy, are my feet tired! We started out around 8:15 at a craft show in Sharon,SC, but was disappointed in it. Another shop was open so we browsed around in it and found some goodies. I got this wooden pig, Yosemite Sam, and the snowmen.

On the way out of Sharon, we stopped at a yard sale. Great sale and great prices! I found this remote control dinosaur .....
 ...three tractors and two trailers......

.....two wooden puzzles. They make the sound of each puzzle piece. I had to stop the car and rearrange them because they kept making noise as I drove!
At another yard sale I got this tiny giraffe...
....ten shirts for the younger boys......
.....an interactive parakeet. This will drive Justin crazy!
Thrift store finds....two elves....
 .....a Santa nesting doll...

....Snow White and a couple of dwarfs....
 .......an ornament hanger.....
At the craft show in Clover,SC, I met a lady that had some crochet items for sale. What interested me the most was she had a Sophie's Universe afghan! That was my first one I have seen made other than my own. We talked for quite a while and she gave me her e-mail address to correspond about more crochet projects. I'm going to try to have a booth of my own next year.
Here are my Christmas decorations....I put my pink tree in my kitchen. I borrowed two of Sloan's trucks to "haul" the brush trees I got at a yard sale earlier this year.

My white tree with the poinsettia , birds, and butterflies bought at after-Christmas sales.
Justin helped me put the ski ramp around the tree. We bought this in 1992! It still works!

I love animated toys! The snowman at the piano sings three songs. The other one I bought today. It repeats whatever you say!
I let Sloan decorate my green tree. He did a great job!
Got my iced coffee, my feet propped up, resting for more shopping!

Love your trees...especially the white one with the birds and butterflies! Also love the parakeet! :D I haven't made a Sophie's Universe, but I've seen lots of pics of them. They are all so gorgeous!!
