Saturday News

No yard sales this morning but I got to keep my sweet grand-babies today. Della and Maxel stayed with me until their mom and dad returned with Amelia. We also had family from West Virginia visiting. Maxel was intrigued with 'Possum's' nitro racer.
Craig caught a lizard and that kept the kids entertained for quite a while.

 Petting the lizard....
 Amelia wasn't interested...
 Uh oh! He got away!
Find him Daddy! Amelia still not interested...

Della wanted to hold the lizard but just wasn't sure...
Grandpa came home with a bunch of "army toys" he got at a yard sale near his job. This kept them entertained for a long time!

He got these "onion" plates for me....
 Disney plates for the kids....
Pioneer stereo system (still haven't figured out why)..

 Mirror candle sconces....
 RC trucks and kids car....

Holly got Amelia's face caught in this thing!
Didn't get to crochet today but I finished the week 8 blocks for the Nuts About Squares CAL....
This week had two blocks called 'Cat's Claw' and one called 'Tropical Paradise". The 'Tropical Paradise' block was a bitch to make. This was the first time in over 40 years of crocheting that I had to use a video to understand the pattern. I've seen quite a few other posts on Facebook with the same problem.
I also made a Tilda Matilda doll. I love the cloth ones that I see on the internet and was so glad to find a crochet pattern for one.

Declan loves to drive! He also got his first haircut this week!

Love seeing pics of your grandkids, Charlotte. You and Justin are like Rick and me in that you enjoy doing things with your grandkids. :) Amelia cracks me up with the lizard. What's all the hype, she says. ;) lol
