Retail therapy

Have you seen the Esurance commercial where the lady unfriends the other for not agreeing with her? You can see it here. That's how my day was Tuesday. Thanks to all of the great friends that understood.
So, to make myself feel better I bought some yarn!
I have been drooling over this particular color for quite a while!
I have been working on this just to have something to do........
It's called Tunisian-crochet-ten-stitch-blanket. Using up some of the yarn hoard.
Thanks again friends!

Your new project is going to be pretty when you get it done. I like the colors that you have chosen. We have lousy weather today so I am trying to catch up with my friends. Our thunderstorm has turned the lightening, hail, rain, thunder, into snow. We have a winter storm advisory plus a wind advisory. I just stayed home. Have a wonderful day. That is a pretty shade of yarn! I've never liked working with the Homespun, but it sure does come in some gorgeous colors. Enjoy! :)

Oh Charlotte, you're a woman after my own heart! I'm going yarn shopping this afternoon and have had my eye on that very brand of yarn. It looks so soft and comforting! I'm thinking a lovely afghan to cuddle up with would be the perfect project for it. I love your blog and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for playing along on today's Link-a-Long at GoCrochetCrazy.blogspot.com!

Hello, I am visiting via Mary Yisela's link-a-long on her Crochet Crazy blog. I am the 4th poster to leave my blog link.

I love new yarn too, I think I would go crazy if I ever ran out of yarn to work with. I haven't tried Tunisian style crochet yet but it sure looks like an interesting variation on the single stitch at a time way of crochet.
Your new yarn looks delicious and I look foward to seeing what you create with it.

Charlotte, I looked for your Tunisian crochet posts (March 2013 and Nov 2012, and can't find an archives. The Tunisian afghan you have in this post is beautiful!

Charlotte, I love the colours of that yarn and you can see how snuggly it looks. Can't wait to see it made up.

Are you having fun with the tunisian blanket?
I recently tried tunisian and really enjoyed it!!

Take care
