Tennessee vacation

WARNING! This post is loaded with pictures!
We left last Saturday for a much needed vacation in Tennessee. Justin and the boys wanted a cabin with access to fishing and I found the best cabin ever! Located in Cosby, Tennessee between Gatlinburg and Newport. We stopped for lunch somewhere in North Carolina before continuing.

Sloan's friend, Ben, came with us. Three teenage boys!
Finally made it to the cabin.

What a great cabin! The boys enjoyed fishing....

Sloan and Ben used the spa.....

 Why do boys like fire?

 Early morning fishing.....

Here's what they used for bait....

I just took it easy, watching the boys fish, crocheting, checking my email....

....and reading the Outlander series of books....

I took pictures of the beautiful landscape....

This tree root grew over this rock locking it in place.
It rained at least once a day. Not  just a little sprinkle, but a downpour!

We visited Gatlinburg....

Got my moonshine!
Janet, Rodney, and Kayla came up Wednesday. Great dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

Go carts, of course!

Although nobody but me wanted to visit any antique shops, Justin took me and seemed to enjoy it.

Isn't this cute?

I bought two 1964 Woman's Day magazines...
Kayla...
 Ben...
 Sloan....
We left Friday and was glad to get home.

Uno was glad to see us...

I slept a little late this morning (nothing like your own bed). We needed a few groceries and on the way to the store, I stopped at a couple of yardsales. I got a 4-man tent for $15.....
....a couple of jackets for either Maxel or Joshua $1 each.....
 ....three jars for $2........
...a Betty Feezor cookbook $1. Betty Feezor was Charlotte's Martha Stewart in the 60's.
This is a wine stopper 50 cents....
 Hope you enjoyed our vacation!
