4th of July 2015

What a great day yesterday for the 4th of July cookout! It wasn't hot and the wind was blowing. Gavin did the cooking this year (with a little help from Grandpa and Jessie). He smoked a turkey, ribs, and even a few hamburgers! He also grilled some hamburgers and ribs! There was so much food that everybody was able to take some home.

The new deck was a great place to rock babies and talk.

Maxel and Josh .....

Pool time...
Della walked right into the pool and sank before anyone could grab her! Luckily, Holly was in the pool to get her!

Horseshoes and cornhole...

Running through the water hose...

And of course, fireworks....

Xander and Abby take a selfie with Ashton....
Poor little Xander was so tired he fell asleep during the fireworks! We all had a great time! This has been a fun-filled month and now Justin and I just want to rest!

I love all the pictures, Charlotte, especially of the babies. Those tire floaties are cute; my oldest has one that looks like a doughnut with a bite taken out. Glad Della's OK! That happened to our neighbor's daughter, too. Get some rest :-)

Such fun pics, Charlotte! Looks like everybody had a blast, and glad that Della is OK. I'm sure that scared the bejeebers out of all of you! What fun to be able to rock babies on the 4th of July. Doesn't get any better than that! :) Love your fireworks, pics, too!
