Welcome to my blog about yard sales, crochet, my family and my life. A yard sale map in one hand and a crochet hook in the other.

A couple of months ago, Justin told me if I wanted any "honey-do" projects completed I had until September 15th to get them done. September 15 was the first day of bow season for whitetail deer. So, I got my kitchen cabinets painted but that's where it stopped. I also wanted the living room and my bedroom painted, but Justin has not felt good for a couple of weeks. I already had the paint, so I started painting the small walls using only a paint brush. He didn't even notice for several days! I finished all but the largest two walls (the ones with the deer heads) yesterday and when he came home, he helped me finish those by cutting in while I rolled. Love my "new" living room.

I bought these curtains at a yard sale last year and they have been in my bedroom. I took the mini blinds down and used sheers instead. Ignore the hunting junk!

The rug I bought at a yard sale this spring goes great with the new color. The color is Light Sage.
Only one small wall is left (behind the shelf). I'll tackle that next week!

I've been working on one of the commisioned Confederate flag afghans.
I didn't notice my feet were in the picture until just now! They are hurting so I'm going to take it easy today.
