Christmas Show and more

Yesterday was our annual trip to the Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte. What a blast! We got there as it opened and it was a good thing we did. When we left a couple of hours later, the traffic was backed up for miles!

We all wore matching shirts, courtesy of Janet, and got many compliments.
Pam, Micki, and I trying to take a selfie!
This was Declan's first year and he was such a sweet baby.
This quilt inspired me to try to make a similar one in crochet!

I bought a set of bamboo sheets for my bed (no picture), and this sign for our deck.....
My best buy was this Christmas moose.....
I had people asking which booth I got him, but I had to tell them that he was the only one the vendor had!
After the show, we had lunch and then did a little shopping at Target. I found these goodies. Doesn't this remind you of Chevy Chase's Christmas movie?
This flamingo was on clearance and she matches my bedroom walls perfectly!
I finished a couple of crochet projects. I had to order the yarn for this plaid tree skirt.
This Santa Plaid Afghan took a couple of weeks to finish. It's Tunisian crochet and I had to use a circular crochet hook. My hands would ache every night but it was worth it!

Now I have to figure out what to do next!
Declan turned two Thursday! I keep him for Kayla once in a while and he is such a sweet and loving little boy. We're having his party today.
That's it for now.....until next time!
